Chongqing ² is a series of photographs, – reproductions of reproductions; photographs from the video Chongqing, which show images from modern skyscapers, were reproduced by a chinese painter in the art of traditional chinese ink drawings. The drawings again were reprodced by taking pictures, but only from details. Like this the images made a transformation from the modern to the traditional, from hard, clear edges to soft, floating borders.
